The 10th annual free listening day
On Thursday, April 11th, 2024, we celebrate the 10th Annual Free Listening Day hosted in cities around the U.S. and abroad! That means it’s been 10 years since the very first Free Listening Day— wow!!
Free Listening Day is an opportunity for the entire world to unite through the power of compassionate, non-judgmental listening, and offer another person the opportunity to be seen, to be known and to be loved.

How To Participate In Free Listening Day 2024
Make A Sign
Write FREE LISTENING on a piece of cardboard or poster board.
Your sign can be as simple or as artistic as you want it to be!
Choose A Spot
Find a safe street corner where there is lots of foot traffic. Hold up your sign and wait for someone to approach you.

Listen
When someone approaches you, put your sign down and listen, giving them your full attention.

Share Your Experience
Take a photo of you and your friends Free Listening!
